Hooooeeee, Jaydubya! Who's your spontaneously appearing/disappearing ladyfriend you got there!
...nice purse, dude.
I'm not posting my Nano in my journal this year but later I might throw up a paragraph or two.
I hope everybody's having a good November!

Boop stepped out of the palace and scowled at the morning sun. it was almost coronation day and he had ten brothers and sisters to bump off.
and that was it.
I managed to get a little more written on my Stupid Vampire Novel this week! I'm proud!
We whipped by Burger King to get some breakfast food and it was fnasty. Naturally XD That store is so gross. The drive-through window is halfway broken and your shoes stick to the floor when yo ugo inside. The hashbrown tot thingies tasted like an ashtray.
Then, Tina, Dad, and I went over to David's to FISH. For once, I actually caught the most fish. They were little tiny brim and crappe but I had more fun reeling them in and taking them off when I wasn't caring how big they were. Robbie, David's new gal, politley wandered down tot he pond's edge and caught three big catfish. Tina got a catfish and dad got a little baby fish like me.
Truthfully, the babies I caught probably added up to Tina's one catfish XD
Yesterday I devoted some time to TOTALLY ORGANIZE my LJ scrapbook. On my journal frontpage, you can find a link to it. It's got photos and some sketches that haven't made it to DA.
I'm also re-working my personal website. I love freewebs because it's got a few tools I like and a shorter, easier to give out URL. Googlepages, however, have no ads, are WAAAY easier to edit on my kind of connection, and with a little know-how, can look about how you want them to. I'm ALSO using it to host my writing. It will be public so there won't be anymore friending foolishness with LJ's stuff. If I decide I have something I want to keep in a closed circle, I will keep it in a google doc and note that emails must be sent in order to see it. I don't plan on posting anything like that though for some time.
It'll be nice to keep almost everything in one pot.
and the moon is bright
it's the first, true night of summer.
But this lovely sight
must give way to light
so the day may come. What a bummer.

( STUPID DUMB QUIZ )

BUY MEEEEEE
I got my copy in today and I read the whole thing! I really liked the stories and the one poem about skunks. I'd reccomend it. It's got one of my favorite authors and one author of a book I was concidering buying. I didn't know it was him until I finished the story and really enjoyed it. I'll be buying his book next.
I'm also thinking about trying to send something in to Furplanet. My only beef there is that 80% of it is like...porn. 8I OH WELL. THATS FURRIES FOR YOU. OH, FURRIES. I'm not going to bother with it until I get some of my schoolwork out of the way.
My grades aren't so hot. If I have to repeat something, it isn't the end of the world. And I'd be a little ahead maybe. JUST A LITTLE. I'm also thinking about taking three classes instead of just two but I'm not sure yet. I've got all the time I need. I'm already aware that I'll probably bein college until my 30's hit. Only two more months left in this semester. I missed pre-reg so I'll just have to scrape the barrel when normal registration rollsa round. Wolfy, you loser!

“Who’s yer friend there?” she grinned and her voice made him think of how an ex-country music singer would sound. He didn’t know why. “You fellas been on a scout run?” Her eyebrows bounced a little. Maurice felt the hairs on his arms go up and not in a good way.
“Naaah!” Horas draped himself over Maurice’s shoulders like an ugly shawl. “Even if he’s cute as a budd’on,” Horas pinched one of Maurice’s cheeks hard and made him hiss out loud. “We just met. This is him, guys. This is that guy I told you about who I thought was passing through? He lives here. He’s just turned. Somebody broke their oath.” Then Horas screamed.
Maurice usually made it a habit to keep his mouth to himself. Spit and other bodily fluids were not among his favorite things and considering the confusion his mother had a week ago, he wasn’t too keen on having much physical contact with other men but some things just called for action. Horas’s thumb and first three fingers had disappeared into the void that was the fledgling’s mouth and blood was swelling at the site.
The dark-skinned woman allowed her expression to change, but only for a moment as she smirked at Horas’s misfortune. “And was that somebody you?” She got to her feet and approached them.
“Fuck!”
“Is that a yes?”
“FUCK!” Horas pounded a fist against Maurice’s skull—the only part of the man that wasn’t vulnerable. Horas tried to pull his hand away but Maurice bent his knees and was simply dragged like a dog.

“I got my reasons.”
“Momma,” warned Maurice. He loved his mother with all his heart and then some– so much that he’d put her name on his upper arm but he didn’t trust her as far as he could throw her when it came to some things. You couldn’t throw Margret Rose very far even if you were a vampire.
His mother let out a huff. “I found a book on that internet I think might help with your–, that problem.”
A project I've been working on for a few years now and lovingly call my Stupid Vampire Novel (aka Fangs n' Fords-- working title) has reached 80 pages. Go Wolfy! Once I reach 100, a tiny party will be thrown.

It was about a chair I used to sit in when we took music class in the fifth grade.
I sang it and put it to music.
I put it on a CD.
This is that song.
Prudence!
Prudence, is that you?
Is that you, Prudence?
I guess not...
Prudence will I ever see you again?
I guess not...
If I could, I would only say this, I miss you Prudence.
Oh, as I sit here thinking of the fifth grade,
I think of you.
You’re the only inanimate object I could see who was true!
Please answer me, Prudence!
Please...
Prudence! Prudence!
As I sit here all alone with no chair below my butt,
I think of the best friend I ever had who had no face!
I think I hear the faint call of a small green chair!
And I miss you, Prudence, and I hope you think of me!
I really hope I get to see you again some day!
And I always will be with you in a way...
Oh brave little dear green chair!
Come to me, green chair!
I miss you, Prudence! Come back to me!
I may or may not include this in the final draft of Fangs and Fords (working title). Horas takes Maurice on his first proper 'hunt'.

I made a poem and a picture. TWO! TWO! TWO ARTS IN ONE. Go look at it.
As suggested from a friend and some personal assumptions, I think I'm going to try to make it a point to wean myself away from the glass teat that is my computer and do ONE offline activity every week. Be it going to the movies, the gas station AND the little painting shop at the crossroads, or playing ball outside. My ass isn't getting any smaller and I need to pull myself away, just for some me time. I remember a few years ago when my father got terribly sick. Everybody was in and out and my computer was my sanity. I think my eyes turned square.
Maybe I should start wandering and sharing photos on here of what I find. The thriftstore always has some pleasently wtf things and the Mississippi countryside is always nice. Specially in the morning when the fog rolls in.
SUGGESTIONS?
It's commin' down in buckets out there. I'ma go.
