2009, here I come!

So. Um. WOAH. Holy shit. It's 2009. TWO THOUSAND AND NINE.


Usually I'd get all smooshy and sentimental about last year but I can't hang onto it. It's over and I'm glad. I'm ready for THIS year. I have a lot ahead of me. This year is going to be hard, I think, just because it'll be full of new stuff. I'll give you a review of things and ideas of things to come.
  • The drama relating to my grandmother's house is OVER and done with.
  • My Uncle Bill doesn't hate me so that's cool!
  • I AM GOING BACK TO COLLAGE. I START MONDAY. MONDAY. OH SHIT.
  • I have a lot of new fur so I may be re-opening furry commissions.
  • I've got a shiny new car! It says vroomvroom!
  • I'm getting a brand new computer.
  • David and his son now have their very own house! AND A POND! I am so proud for them! Laura can never make them move again!
  • I've written a LOT this past year and I look forward to finishing more short stories in the future! If you're curious, check out my writing journal. I'd love to hear what you think.
  • AND THIS IS THE BIG BIG ONE! EVEN BIGGER THAN COLLAGE-- WE ARE GOING TO GET FAST INTERNET.

THIS IS KIND OF A BIG FREAKING DEAL FOR ME.
 
All my online life, I have always had dial up. I have always seen the world wide web at a blazing 45.2kbps. A three minute youtube video takes me half an hour to load. I can barely load flash-based websites. It takes forever to share a file or even look at a big picture a friend has done. I can't play games. I can't voice chat without the connection crapping itself every couple of minutes. 

SO. The year 2009 will finally feel like 2009. BRING IT ON, NEW YEAR.
I'm ready!
